We have had several inquiries regarding whether the neighborhood will be setting trick or treat times. We have always followed and will continue to follow the city/county in regards to trick or treating dates/times/guidelines. For 2020 this means we are following the city and Monroe Co. Health Department recommendations, which mirror the CDC.
There will be no official trick or treat hours set and traditional trick or treating is not condoned or recommended.
Although we do not have specifics, we’ve heard there may be some local socially distanced events such as trunk or treats or drive-throughs. If you are aware of such an activity feel free to share it with your neighbors.
If you choose to participate in trick or treating regardless of recommendations, all mask, sanitizing, and social distancing requirements and guidelines should be followed.
Trick or treaters are reminded to use sidewalks and walkways and do not approach homes that are not clearly participating. Drivers are reminded to be extra mindful of speed and caution as well.
